This Privacy Policy explains how Growtide S.A.S. ("Growtide," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit https://growtide.us (the "Site"), fill out our contact or growth audit form, or reach out to us. We are a growth marketing agency that helps businesses with paid media, websites and Shopify stores, CRM, WhatsApp and AI automation, and SEO.

Who we are
The Site is operated by Growtide S.A.S., a company based in Medellín, Colombia. Our Site is aimed at businesses in the United States and Latin America. For purposes of Colombian law, Growtide S.A.S. is the party responsible for processing your personal data (responsable del tratamiento). You can reach us at hello@growtide.us.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact or growth audit form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your company name
- Your company's website
- Your monthly marketing budget range
- Your biggest growth challenge, in your own words
- Your preferred language (English or Spanish)
- Your consent to be contacted, and the date and time you gave it
We also collect whatever you choose to share with us when you email us, book a call, or message us on WhatsApp. Please do not send us sensitive information (such as health information, financial account numbers, or government ID numbers) through the form or chat.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and the analytics and advertising tools described below may automatically collect certain information, such as:
- Your IP address and approximate location (city or region) derived from it
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages you view, links you click, how long you stay, and the page that referred you to us
- Cookie IDs, advertising IDs, and similar identifiers
- Whether you completed an action, such as submitting the form or clicking to book a call
Information from third parties
If you click on one of our ads, the ad platform (for example, Google, Meta, or LinkedIn) may tell us that a visit or form submission came from that ad. We receive this mostly as aggregated reports, not as a profile of you.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your inquiry and answer your questions
- Prepare and deliver the free growth audit you requested
- Schedule and hold calls with you
- Send you the follow-ups you asked for, in your preferred language
- Decide whether and how we can help your business, and prepare a proposal if you want one
- Understand how visitors use the Site and improve its content, design, and performance
- Measure how well our own advertising works
- Keep the Site and our form secure and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use
We do not use the information you submit through our form to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Cookies and tracking technologies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Pixels, tags, and similar technologies work in a similar way. We may use the following tools on the Site:

These providers may collect information about your activity on the Site and on other websites over time. They use it under their own privacy policies: Google, Meta, and LinkedIn.
Your choices
You can limit or turn off cookies and tracking in several ways:
- Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block all cookies, some parts of the Site may not work as expected.
- Google: Manage ad personalization in Google Ads Settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Meta: Adjust your Meta ad preferences.
- LinkedIn: Adjust your LinkedIn advertising settings.
- Industry opt-out pages: Opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies through the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA).
Opt-outs are usually tied to the browser and device you use, so you may need to repeat them on each one. Opting out of interest-based ads does not mean you will see no ads; the ads you see will just be less tailored.
Global Privacy Control
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser, and we will not load advertising tags (such as the Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or Google Ads remarketing) for that browser. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common standard for them; GPC is the signal we support.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described here:
- Service providers. We use companies that help us run our business, such as Netlify (website hosting and form processing), Google (analytics, email, calendar, and office tools), and customer relationship management (CRM) and communication tools. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
- Advertising and analytics partners. As described in the cookies section, Google, Meta, and LinkedIn may receive information through their tags on the Site. Under some U.S. state laws, this may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information, or as "targeted advertising," even though no money changes hands. You can opt out as described in this policy.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that deal. We will keep protecting it as this policy describes.
- With your permission. We may share information for other purposes if you ask us to or agree to it.
Third-party services we link to
The Site includes links to book a call through Google Calendar appointment scheduling and to chat with us on WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta. When you use these services, you are interacting with Google or WhatsApp directly, and they collect and use your information under their own terms and privacy policies (see the Google Privacy Policy and the WhatsApp Privacy Policy). We receive the details you provide there, such as your name, email, phone number, meeting time, and messages, and we handle them under this policy.
The Site may also link to other websites, such as case studies, client sites, or social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.
Text and WhatsApp messages
We send SMS or WhatsApp messages only if you have given us your consent, for example by checking the consent box on our form or by messaging us first. These messages relate to your inquiry, your audit, and calls you scheduled. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out. For help, reply HELP or email hello@growtide.us. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of buying any service. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.
International data transfers
Our team is based in Colombia, and our service providers are mainly located in the United States. That means your information is processed in the United States and Colombia, and may be processed in other countries where our providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may be different from the laws where you live. When we transfer information, we take reasonable steps to protect it as this policy describes, including by using providers with appropriate contractual commitments.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy:
- Form submissions and related messages: generally up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client or ask us to delete them sooner.
- Client information: for the duration of our engagement and afterward as required by our contract, tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
- Analytics and advertising data: according to the retention settings of each tool, which we keep to the shortest period that meets our measurement needs.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and limiting access to people who need it. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you when the law requires it.
Your privacy rights in the United States
Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the following rights, subject to certain exceptions:
- Right to know and access: to ask what personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we use it, and who we share it with, and to get a copy.
- Right to delete: to ask us to delete personal information we collected from you.
- Right to correct: to ask us to fix inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out: of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and of targeted advertising.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site and do not use it to infer characteristics about you.
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently, deny you services, or charge you different prices because you exercised your privacy rights.
- Right to appeal: if we decline your request, you can appeal our decision by replying to our response or emailing us. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can contact your state attorney general.
Categories of information for California residents
In the last 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA):

We collect this information from you, from your device, and from our advertising and analytics partners, for the purposes described in "How we use your information." We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
How to exercise your rights
To make a request, email us at hello@growtide.us with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you want to exercise and which state you live in. To opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, you can also turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or use the opt-out links above.
We will need to verify your identity before we act on most requests, usually by confirming information we already have, such as your email address. You can use an authorized agent to make a request for you; we may ask for proof that you gave the agent permission and may ask you to verify your identity directly. We will respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need more time as the law allows.
Your rights under Colombian law
Because Growtide S.A.S. is based in Colombia, we process personal data in accordance with Law 1581 of 2012 (Ley 1581 de 2012) and its implementing regulations. Under that law, you have the right to:
- Know, update, and correct your personal data
- Request proof of the authorization you gave us to process your data
- Be informed, on request, about how we have used your data
- Revoke your authorization and ask us to delete your data, when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it
- Access your personal data free of charge
- File complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, SIC) after first contacting us
To exercise these rights, email hello@growtide.us. We answer inquiries within 10 business days and complaints within 15 business days, as the law requires.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will give you more prominent notice, such as a notice on the Site. Please check this page from time to time.
